Pregnancy massage
Pregnancy massage
This form of massage is geared toward pregnant women and offers numerous benefits for both the body and mind during this special time.
Pregnancy massage focuses on supporting all the physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy. Some aspects/benefits of this massage include:
Relaxation and Stress Reduction: Similar to a regular relaxation massage, pregnancy massage helps reduce tension and stress.
This is essential for expectant mothers, as pregnancy often comes with added pressure and worry.Relief of Physical Complaints: Massage focuses on specific areas that are often stressed during pregnancy, such as the lower back, hips and legs. Various techniques relax muscles and relieve pain.
Improved Circulation: Pregnancy massage promotes circulation, which is beneficial for both the mother and baby. For example, it also helps reduce fluid retention and swollen ankles.
Emotional Balance: The touch and soothing movements of massage contribute to a sense of well-being and calm. This can help reduce anxiety and tension.
Adapted Techniques: During a pregnancy massage, specific techniques are used and certain pressure points are avoided so that the massage is safe for pregnant women.
The comfort of the pregnant lady is obviously very important. Therefore, I use a specially designed pregnancy massage cushion. This allows you to lie on your belly without your belly getting in the way. Should this, for any reason, not be comfortable, I will massage from a side position. If so I will make every effort to make the massage as comfortable as possible.
So if you are pregnant, definitely consider a relaxing pregnancy massage to support your body and mind during this special phase of your life!
30 minute relaxation massage
The 30-minute massage usually focuses on the upper body's backside. This means that during the massage, attention is given to the back, neck, shoulders, and arms. In half an hour, you will feel the muscles warming up, tense muscles relaxing, and your mind calming down.
If you have specific preferences, please don't hesitate to mention them. This can include giving extra attention to certain muscles or treating muscles outside the mentioned body parts above. If you choose this option, please be aware that another body part will receive less attention. All of this is, of course, done in consultation.
60 minute relaxation massage
The 60-minute massage usually focuses on the entire backside of the body. This means that during the massage, attention is given to the back, neck, shoulders, arms, and legs. In an hour, you will feel the muscles warming up, tense muscles relaxing, and your mind calming down.
Adjustments to the treatment are also possible with this massage (see "30-minute massage" above). This is always done in consultation.
90 minute relaxation massage
The 90-minute massage focuses on both the back and front of the entire body. This means that during the massage, attention is given to the back, neck, shoulders, arms, abdomen and legs. In an hour and a half, you will feel the muscles warming up, tense muscles relaxing, and your mind calming down.
Adjustments to the treatment are also possible with this massage (see "30-minute massage" above). This is always done in consultation.
120 minute relaxation massage
The 120-minute massage also focuses on both the back and front of the entire body, just like the 90-minute massage. The difference between these two treatments is the amount of time spent on each body part. Extra time is spent on creating total relaxation. In 2 hours time, you will feel the muscles warming up, tense muscles relaxing, and your mind calming down.
Adjustments to the treatment are also possible with this massage (see "30-minute massage" above). This is always done in consultation.
